Please join us for a Six Session Workshop to Navigate and Master Your Career Search

Together, we will explore the many components that impact a successful job search. Ninety minute sessions include:

Week 1Uncovering your Values, Wants, and Deal Breakers: Through various assessments and exercises you’ll fine-tune your career interests, career values, motivated skills, and desired work environment

Week 2First Steps to Explore and Test Drive a Career: How to conduct an informational interview. Learn more about your field(s) of interest and spread the word you’re looking for a job

Week 3All About Me: Preparing your resume, LinkedIn profile, cover letter, and checking out your digital footprint

Week 4Pounding the Pavement: Networking, ads, online tools, and keeping track of contacts and status

Week 5They’re Interested, Now What? The interview: Steps to prepare and practice the interview itself and follow-up

Week 6Keeping on Track, Motivation, Next Steps, and Additional Tips

Dates and Time: The cost for the six-session workshop  TBD. Workshop Fee includes: Individual 15-minute check-in calls after sessions 3 and 6, review of assessments, creation of a personal career manual, and formation of a private Facebook group to share articles, updates, and offer support. Additional vocational testing (if career interests are unknown) and personal coaching are available at the rate of $975 for testing and $170.00 per hour for coaching.  Enrollment limited to 10 participants                                              

The workshop will be conducted by: Michael Hehir, PSY.D, licensed Clinical Psychologist with an included specialty in assessments and evaluation, and Marla Stone, MA, CMC, PCC, CSS, certified Life Coach and Career Services Specialist, with Robert AKA Buck Weaver III, PH.D., Weaver Center Director and Neuropsychologist dropping in as well.
