Adult Workshops

Marla offers a variety of online workshops for adults.  Topics include off to college- a parent guide, enhancing productivity in the workplace, New Year's Resolutions, and executive function skills. Learning to Thrive During Your 9 to 5

 On average, people waste about two hours of their workday.

 Come and join us for an interactive workshop to discover how to make your day more productive, more balanced, and less stressful. 

Workshop topics include:

  • Defining your core values and true priorities to help give direction to your day
  • Scheduling your tasks to maximize your output
  • Increasing productivity
  • A “toolbox” of strategies to help stay on task and reduce distractions 

The workshop will be conducted by Marla Stone, MA, CMC, PCC, CSS, Life and ADHD/Executive Function Coach, Career Services Specialist

Please join us for a lively discussion on “It’s Off to College.”

Focus will be on how to make the transition a smoother one for your child, as well as for you! Come with questions, concerns, and insights. We will cover everything from the skills necessary for a successful college experience, to what to pack and what to expect the first semester.

The discussion will be facilitated by life coach, Marla Stone, MA, CMC, PCC, CSS.  Marla works with teens and adults and has a special interest in working with students transitioning to college.

Highlights of the workshop include:

  • Identifying and classifying goals (promotion or prevention, “be good” or “get better”)
  • The power of mindset
  • How to make it a SMART goal
  • Considering potential temptations and “if/then” planning to keep you on track
  • Motivators: support, rewards, and apps to help you stay on track
